AEECO LOGO
Engineering design

AEECO delivers engineering design services spanning Sudan's full energy project lifecycle, from feasibility studies through detailed technical design, procurement planning, and construction oversight. Our engineers, trained on international projects, bring proven expertise in OCGT and CCGT thermal technology, high-voltage transmission, and substation design, meeting international standards under strict EHS practices. Partnerships with Siemens, General Electric, and Harbin Electric strengthen technical execution, ensuring quality, reliability, and local delivery.

AEECO LOGO
project Management

AEECO manages Sudan's energy and infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle, coordinating feasibility studies, financing, engineering, procurement, and construction through to operations. As lead developer on projects like Garri 3 and Klanayeeb, AEECO structures agreements, negotiates PPAs, and oversees EPC contractors on behalf of project owners. Combining international best practices with deep local knowledge, the team ensures accountability, coordination, and delivery despite Sudan's challenging operating environment.

AEECO LOGO
Field Engineering

AEECO provides field engineering services across Sudan's power and infrastructure sites, delivering on-ground technical oversight, installation supervision, and troubleshooting in challenging environments. Examples include efficiency upgrades at the Garri power complex, maintenance programs for diesel generators in remote towns, and construction of high-voltage transformers and substations. This hands-on execution experience, paired with international partner coordination, builds credibility with Sudan's national utility and ensures reliable, on-time project delivery.

AEECO LOGO
Maintenance

AEECO delivers operations and maintenance services supporting Sudan's power generation and grid infrastructure, ensuring reliability across thermal, solar, and transmission assets. The company has run maintenance programs for diesel generators in remote towns and supports efficiency upgrades at facilities like the Garri power complex. As co-owner and operator under the Garri 3 IPP model, AEECO combines local engineering presence with international partner expertise to sustain long-term plant performance.

AEECO LOGO
Transformers & Switchgear

AEECO's construction division delivers high-voltage transformers, substations, and switchgear across Sudan's power infrastructure, enabling end-to-end solutions from power plant to plug. The proposed transformer repair workshop targets 20–100 MVA units, featuring active-part rewind, HV testing, and oil regeneration facilities. This capability reduces import lead-times and foreign-exchange costs while supporting the national grid, reinforcing AEECO's integrated approach across all phases.

AEECO LOGO
Poles & Towers factory

AEECO supports Sudan's transmission and distribution networks with conductor and cabling scope integrated into its EPC projects, from the proposed 500kV Port Sudan–Atbara–Khartoum backbone to the 220kV Aroma–Haya line. Work spans conductors, protection and control systems, and OPGW alongside a planned poles and towers factory producing concrete and steel structures. This localizes supply for national grid rollout, reinforcing AEECO's integrated engineering, procurement, and construction approach.
